There’s only one way for them to kill time and get out their frustrations. How will things change when they go back tomorrow? Will they ever be able to let their guard down?

Main Thought: Taking place in the off season there’s not as many hockey references, but I enjoyed the book overall. I’m a little surprised by the family’s reaction though.

Kyla has been trying to make partner and Tag’s hockey team just moved. They have both been stressed and getting time off from work has been a struggle. Their families decide to go up to the lake for a few weeks and want everyone to go. They both decide it would be good for them to get away. After not seeing each other for years, they start spending more time together and ask each other the tough work and relationship questions.
