Main Thought: It was cute and exactly what I would expect for the tropes. However, it was not as spicy as most of her books.

Hattie has lost everything and decides that her only option is to become a mail order bride. Hartley doesn’t like the idea, but also doesn’t want to disappoint his mother. After he picks up his bride-to-be, he brings her home and makes her cry. Main Thought: It was really good and kept my interest. I enjoyed the back and forth in time between the chapters. There were a lot of twists that I was not expecting and some twists that I went back and forth questioning whether or not it would happen.

After months of living in the wild, they were found by hikers and rescued. However, Fiona and Violent have always told everyone the same story and never spoke about the Alone Time. Main Thought: It wasn’t what I was expecting. It was okay, but the drama between them did seem to drag at times.

As she got older, he would pick on her, make him of her, and put her down. Heath started trying to keep his distance when he found himself attracted to Yaz. Then one day Heath drove her home and they realized they were both attracted to each other. However, Heath kept saying the wrong things and therefore created more distance between them. Heath has never been turned down by a woman before and doesn’t know how to deal with it. When Heath needs support in his personal life, Yaz doesn’t allow him to be alone and makes him accept help. Will Heath change his mind about Yaz? Will Yaz be able to forgive Heath for his mistakes?

Main Thought: This was not at all what I was expecting, but it was really good. I read it in one day. I also really enjoyed the English slang.

Main Thought: The beginning was slow until he escaped, then I couldn’t put it down. It was extremely unrealistic which kind of took away from it slightly.

During the trial, he stopped fighting and was convicted and is serving a life sentence. 5 years later his sister-in-law, Rachel, visits him with a picture that looks similar to what his son would look like now. At the same time a new inmate comes in and wants to kill David. The warden is David’s godfather and best friend’s with his father. With David’s life in danger and his son possibly still alive, will David be able to uncover the truth? Can he save himself and his son? Will anyone still be willing to help him after 5 years?

Main Thought: I read this because of the Kindle Booktok Challenge and because @mrsshaholz loved it so much. While I’m not normally into SciFi this was really good and I want to read more books in the series.

Warning: abduction, rape

Georgie was abducted and then due to ship problems she was dropped on a planet. Her capturers, the green aliens, left and she decided to see what was around. While exploring she got stuck in Vektal’s trap and passed out. When she woke up, he was nothing like she was expecting. She was scared, but Vektal only wanted to take care of her. They speak different languages so they had trouble communicating, but eventually they were able to express themselves. Georgie convinces him to go back up the mountain, but he doesn’t understand until he finds one of the girls frozen in the snow. Will Georgie be able to save the other women? Will the women be able to get back to Earth or be stuck on the new planet? Will the green aliens come back to get them?

Main Thought: After reading Wrong, I wanted to read this for Everly’s story. Everly is definitely entertaining since you never know what she is going to do next. The beginning was back and forth between the present and when she was growing up, but it wasn’t difficult to follow.

Everly has had a crush on Finn since she was six years old. She is constantly scheming to try to get him to notice her as more than his best friend’s younger sister. However, her schemes rarely go according to her plan and the Thanksgiving scheme ends with her in the car with Finn’s brother, Sawyer, heading back to Philadelphia. While Everly thinks Finn is the perfect man for her, Sawyer is convinced that he is the perfect man for her. Will Sawyer be able to win her heart? Will Everly ever give up on Finn?

Main Thought: I wish it was a double POV since there were multiple times where I was wondering what Luke was thinking. There were also some parts that were not concluded by the end of the book. I think Everly was one of my favorite characters and I’m excited to read her story next.

Sophie works at Grind Me, a local coffee shop while she’s finishing college. She has a crush on Luke who stops into the shop once a week for coffee. She decides to go to the school clinic for an exam to get birth control and figures out that Luke is a doctor, and apparently her new doctor. Luke becomes protective of Sophie and finally gives her what she wants, to lose her virginity, after she pushes him enough. Sophie and Luke are from two different worlds. Will Sophie be able to keep up with Luke and his family? Will Luke be able to give Sophie what she needs?
