Lesson: If a guy is too popular and wants girls to leave him alone, you should agree to be his fake girlfriend.
Main Thought: I really enjoyed it and I like the parts of Jacob talking about hockey. I find Skylar’s thoughts and thinking very relatable.
Warning: suicide, rape
Jacob was accused of being part of a gang rape and had to go to a college if he wanted to continue to play hockey. Skylar lost her best friend last year and started writing with SAPAP to help her deal with everything. Skylar is trying to keep her grades up, work, and volunteer. Her friends finally convince her to go to a party one night and she catches Jacob’s attention. Jacob is trying to avoid the attention from the other women and asks Skylar to help him out. Skylar agreed to be Jacob’s fake girlfriend. While it started with them hanging out in public, they started spending more and more time together. While they were going to keep everything platonic, one night one thing leads to another and their relationship becomes deeper. However, Skylar is still trying to deal with her loss and Jacob is dealing with his accusation. What happens when their pasts come out? Will they still be able to count on each other?
